Keep moving forward

I believe that if one door closes another one opens, as long as you keep moving forward.

I am encouraged lately by the overwelming support I’ve been getting since I decided to drop out of a course I was in that I felt wasn’t what I truly wanted to do. I’m glad I did. As soon as I did, opportunities came my way of things I’ve been wanting to do for years. How did that happen? I keep moving forward! Even though I knew there was a chance things may not work out. This has brought back joy to my life again! I want to ask you something. “What is it that you’ve been wanting to do?” If you feel like something is holding you back. Step back and take a look at what that could be. It may not be a course like in my case. I encourage you to seek out what it is you truly want to do and try and make it happen! It could be a phone call, email, talking with the right people. Make it happen!! You’ll be amazed at how you feel after doing it.

In the end if I’m not able to move on to another course I won’t be discouraged. Throughout this whole process I’ve had nothing but the best support! Through my parents, partner, friends and organizations. And maybe there is something else bigger out there for me. I’m just going to keep moving forward.

Often we get comfortable with where we are at that we don’t do anything else for ourselves. We just stay there. What if there are other amazing things we could be doing out there? What if we can make a difference? I encourage you to get involved in something you’re passionate about. Can you imagine all the amazing change we would see in this world?!

Welcome to my blogging site!

My tag line On purpose, for a Purpose is the heart of this blog and I’m going to share with you what it means to me.

I believe that as long as you are still breathing, you have a purpose or mission in this life. Each of us are born on purpose for a purpose. Your existence is not a mistake. We each have something different to offer that makes us unique.

The purpose of this blog is to share my journey in the hope that it will encourage others to know that you’re not in your struggles alone! I will also be including other passions of mine.

Stay tuned, I look forward to our journey together πŸ™‚
